ABOUT ASHLEY

I’m a digital communications professional with experience leading strategy, content creation, and multi-channel engagement for mission-driven organizations and major brands. My background spans journalism, digital marketing, and consulting, where I’ve helped organizations craft clear, impactful messaging that aligns with their goals and engages diverse audiences.

Currently, I serve as Communications Manager at the Western Methodist Justice Movement, where I lead digital strategy, manage website content, and produce newsletters and campaigns that amplify the organization’s justice-focused mission. Previously, I’ve consulted for organizations including Mind Blowing Magazine and Rose Gold Pro, and developed digital campaigns for Walt Disney Studios, Amazon, STARZ, FX Networks, and Focus Features. I've assisted in the creation of international one sheets (the posters below are a few of them) for Marvel, Star Wars, and Pixar. I was credited as Silver Winner at the Clio Awards with the team at Watson Design Group and it was an honor to be recognized for my copywriting on such an important project. I thrive in roles that blend strategic thinking, storytelling, and purposeful communication. I’m especially passionate about opportunities where I can support organizations with mission-driven work, creating content that informs, inspires, and strengthens communities while maintaining a thoughtful approach.

I am a Chicago native who is now living in Los Angeles. On any given weekend you may find me enjoying a good book, writing, or rewatching a classic Studio Ghibli film. In my free time, I love shooting photography. My interests began in architectural / cityscape photography and have since branched out into street / night photography.
